About Alvin L. Daniels, Jr
Alvin L. Daniels Jr. is a native of the state of Florida. He grew up in and began his professional career in the community of Delray Beach.
His spiritual journey began under the teaching of the late Brother James S. Fredrick, and he was baptized into the Church in April of 1987 under the leadership of Dr. I.C. Spivey of the 15th Avenue Church of Christ, Delray Beach, FL.
Alvin L. Daniels Jr. is married to the former Cynthia R. Kinnel of Delray Beach, FL. They have three wonderful and compassionate children who love serving the Lord.
He is currently the Senior Minister to the Hope Church of Christ in Miami Gardens, FL.
Brother Daniels began his spiritual service by attending International Bible College in Florence, Alabama. His studies emphasized doctrine and evangelism.
While attending IBC, he ministered to and worked with several churches in the Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee areas. Brother Daniels has worked extensively in the arena of at-risk and delinquent youth.
He has been very involved in counseling and mentoring children in serious habitual offender programs (SHO) and he has held several supervisory positions, including Director of Children’s Services in South Georgia. He holds a BA Degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Valdosta State University.
